Dynamic Sketching with Will Weston
TilmeldJoin Will Weston for a three-day Dynamic Sketching class in beautiful Copenhagen.
Taking advantage of Copenhagen's lovely parks, museums, and architecture,
students will learn to draw various plants, objects, and buildings while mastering
the fundamentals of picture composition.
Each class begins with a drawing lecture and demonstrations at our selected
location, followed by individualized instruction tailored to each student's skill
level as we sketch on site. Students also receive comprehensive PDF handouts
that support and build upon the in-class instruction.
The final list of locations will be decided later, and sent to the registered participants.
Recommended Supply List:
A small collapsible stool with a back (camping stores often carry inexpensive
options). This is strongly recommended as ants love people sitting on the ground.
One 11" × 17" (or similar size) white paper sketch pad
Two 10% cool gray wedge markers (not recommended are markers with brush tips)
Four black Faber-Castell Polychromos or Prismacolor Premier pencils
One Portable electric or manual pencil sharpener with a catch basin for shavings.
One Drawing board slightly larger than your sketch pad. I recommend a lightweight
masonite painting board (often gessoed on one side) available at art stores. These
boards are inexpensive, easy to carry and keep paper flat.
Sun protection and comfort items:
Hat
Sunblock
Sunglasses
Long-sleeved shirt
Snacks
Water
