Botanical Drawing & Watercolour fundamentals

Welcome Spring with this course to develop botanical art skills.
Practice begins with basic drawing techniques - mark making, tonal values and perspective, before working with watercolour. We develop pencil & paint techniques alongside botanical knowledge, ideal for students with interest in botany and developing artists to begin their journey in illustration.
All levels are welcome. However, if you have already have good drawing skills and prefer to focus on watercolour, the option to join an Intermediate course is available, running on the same day from 18:30-21:00.
Materials to bring:
- 2H, HB, 2B pencils
- Drawing paper 180 gsm (not printer copy paper)
- Eraser block and kneadable eraser
- Sharpener.
- Sandpaper Block to sharpen pencils
- A blender or burnishing pencil
Before watercolour lessons begin, an additional materials list will be sent to students.
Please note: discounted price for students/unemployed/pensionist is strictly for residents of Copenhagen Municipality proper, and we are required to ask you to provide documentation for your status.
